Realizing the benefits of an efficient organization of highway contractors and those who furnish materials, equipment, and services for the construction of highways, roads, and airports in Tennessee, we hereby pledge our wholehearted support to the TENNESSEE ROAD BUILDERS ASSOCIATION and its Constitution and Bylaws. To guarantee its operation, we subscribe and agree to pay as dues:
$1,000 Annual Dues (per Division membership) Must be received with application for membership.
.12 of 1% (or $120 per $100,000 rate) Supplemental Dues (All divisions except Aggregate Division) on each Tennessee Department of Transportation contract.
.0367 cents per Manhour Supplement Dues (Aggregate Division only) Maximum Aggregate Supplemental Dues per year - $40,000
Maximum Supplemental Dues per year - $50,000 (Sub-Contracted amount does not apply toward Prime’s Maximum)
Minimum payment will be $1,000 per year, payable in advance. This entitles a member to full membership privileges in one (1) Division of their choice. Any member may elect to be classified in multiple Divisions by paying the appropriate Annual dues for each Division membership. Association dues, except as noted below, may be deductible as professional or business expenses, to the extent allowable by law, but may not be deducted as a charitable contribution. In accordance with the Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1993, the Tennessee Road Builders Association has determined that 15% of all dues, whether a fixed amount or supplemental, are non-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
